How we work

Final Hope Foundation is a global movement for change, mobilizing millions of people around the world to support social justice for children in developing countries.
Founded in 2013, we are one of the Uganda’s national development agencies, working in partnership with millions of people around the world to end global poverty. Not for profit, independent and inclusive of all faiths and cultures, we have only one agenda: to improve the lives of children.

Founded by local Ugandans amidst the raging poverty of the early 2013, Final Hope Foundation has grown to become a leader in aid to poor children and the community at large― pioneering various types of self-help development programs and noted for its close, collegial partnerships with the people and leaders of Africa.

Final Hope Foundation works in partnership with other NGOs in countries around the globe, including 50 developing countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas. We give children, families and communities the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build sustainable solutions for improving their own lives.

Final Hope Foundation is also the organization behind ‘Because I am an Orphan’, a local initiative to end gender inequality, promote girls’ rights and lift millions of girls – and everyone around them – out of poverty.

In 2013, our work impacted the lives of over 5 million people – including 1 million children – in over 200 communities around the country Uganda.
